Alison’s class was recommended to me because of her caring attitude and her individual approach to her students. I was apprehensive at first but Alison quickly reassured me and kept a close watch on me (and still does) I have been attending Alison’s class now for almost 6 months and due to a combination of Alison’s intervention and my integrating her advice into my daily activities, my sciatica has virtually disappeared and my back pain is much reduced. Since l started Pilates with Alison my posture has improved and l have developed a more positive attitude to how l move, sit and stand. Alison runs a fantastic Pilates Class. I've had spinal surgery and often have back pain. After Alison's class l am in much less pain and feel more confident in my mobility. Alison is always aware of any medical issues members have and will offer alternative exercises. I would recommend her classes to anyone of any age

At my Health Club the majority of classes are designed with the younger and fitter members in mind and although there are quite a few quieter options like Pilates, Yoga, Tai Chi etc. to suit all age groups, some of us felt that there was a lack of gentler aerobic classes for the older members. Until Alison came on the scene. We now had our instructor. From the word go, she endeared herself to us by introducing a lot of variety in her classes, mainly low impact aerobics and dance but also a bit of resistance work, Modern Pilates and relaxation at the end. And all of this is very enjoyable and SUCH FUN!   We never stop laughing and giggling, particularly when we get the clapping or the dance steps wrong. Having said that, the class is a very good way to exercise our brains as concentration on new moves is often required! Alison is a very patient, kind, very aware and caring instructor who also seems to enjoy sharing our giggles! The class has now grown from the original 3 or 4 members to 8 or 9. And we ALL love it! A great way to start the week, body and mind refreshed and good mood for the rest of the day assured! Alison, a big thank you to you!
